The Through the Web album is a 14-track, 45-minute project that tells the story of the beginnings of connection within South Florida’s creative community. Serving as both a musical companion to our documentary and a standalone work of art, this album encapsulates the essence of collaboration, resilience, and artistry.
We set the tone with what Better Days Club calls “Broward’s National Anthem”, a track that embodies the pride and energy of our local scene. From there, the album takes listeners on a feel-good journey with tracks like “Cool Waters”and ventures into introspection with songs such as “Cosmos” and “Jerry Rice”.
One of the standout tracks, “Changes”, showcases the album’s diversity—blending genres, artistry, and perspectives to reflect the rich tapestry of South Florida's creative ecosystem. With its highs, lows, and middle grounds, the album mirrors the realities of the local music industry while emphasizing the beauty of coming together despite differences.
We close with our theme song and album title, “Through the Web”, a track that effortlessly sums up the Better Days mindset: fostering connection, embracing authenticity, and building a community that thrives together.
Better Days Anonymous - Our Sophomore Collaboration Album
On January 20th, Better Days Club released its sophomore album, Better Days Anonymous. This project introduces an entirely new cast of artists, showcasing the evolution of our creative community.
Better Days Anonymous is a sonically mature album that delves into the complexities of indulgence within the entertainment world. Tracks explore themes of sex, partying, drugs, alcohol, and more, revealing the nuanced reasons why creatives often turn to these vices as coping mechanisms.
While the album doesn’t shy away from these raw truths, it also offers moments of introspection—peeling back layers to examine the subtle and surface-level motivations behind these choices. With a diverse soundscape and thought-provoking subject matter, this sophomore effort reflects the growth of Better Days, both in artistry and storytelling.
Through a thorough listen, we hope the audience sees the clear progression from Through the Web to Better Days Anonymous—a journey of growth, depth, and unflinching honesty that underscores everything we stand for.
